Hong Kong police reported on Tuesday the arrest of an additional suspect in connection with the deadly knife attack in Yuen Long, bringing the total number of arrests to ten.

The police revealed a 31-year-old local woman, surname Yeung, was arrested in Tuen Mun yesterday morning (Jan 28) and was suspected of assisting an offender.
Yeung, along with a 20-year-old non-Chinese woman who was previously arrested on January 24 (Fri) for conspiracy to wounding, has been released on bail pending further inquiries, and both were required to report back to police in mid-February.
A total of eight men and two women, aged between 19 and 31, have been arrested in this case.
Among the eight male suspects, four have been charged with murder and wounding, with one 20-year-old non-Chinese man facing charges of driving without a valid license and driving without third-party insurance. Additionally, the cases will be adjourned in May for a joint hearing.
The other four male arrestees have been released on bail and are required to report to the police in late February.
The attack occurred on January 22 (Fri) near the Hi Yip Factory Building on Hi Yip Street in Yuen Long and is suspected to be linked to the Wo Shing Wo triad, resulting in the death of a 24-year-old man surnamed Chan and injuries to another 28-year-old man surnamed Cheng.
