Primary student caught smoking in Shek Kip Mei basketball court

A recent social media video captured a group of underage individuals smoking on a basketball court in Shek Kip Mei, with one of them wearing a primary school uniform.

The footage shared on Threads last Friday (Jan 24) saw a group of children playing basketball in the evening. A kid in casual wear was sharing a cigarette with the uniformed student, taking puffs in turns before the student discarded it on the ground and put it out.

Online users expressed shock and concern over children smoking, urging authorities to address the issue seriously. Some commented that the student seemed quite skilled in smoking and putting out cigarette butts.
