A Pakistani man in his 50s died after his motorcycle collided with a minivan head-on in Tung Chung on Thursday morning.
The motorcyclist was traveling along Tung Chung Road when the accident happened at around 8.50 am.
It is understood when the motorcycle approached Shek Lau Po, the man lost control of his motorcycle and moved into the opposite lane, hitting the minivan head-on.
The motorcyclist immediately fell unconscious after the crash, while the minivan driver was unharmed.
The motorcyclist was rushed to North Lantau Hospital, where he was pronounced dead after failed resuscitation.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
