Police said they have arrested one man who they believe was involved in a Sheung Shui jewelry shop robbery on Wednesday, with part of the stolen goods recovered.

Four robbers armed with knives and hammers stormed a jewelry store on San Fung Avenue in Sheung Shui at around 6.30 pm yesterday, making off with valuables and fleeing in a car that later crashed in Tai Po.
The black car the assailants were in was said to have hit another car at a roundabout at Ng Tung Chai on Lam Kam Road at around 7 pm. The suspects fled on foot after the crash.
According to the police force, the 23-year-old non-ethnic Chinese man was arrested in Pat Heung. Officers managed to recover part of the stolen goods.
An investigation is underway and police are still hunting down the remaining suspects.
