A taxi driver was injured after losing control and mounting the pedestrian path early Sunday morning in Yau Ma Tei.

At around 3 am today, a taxi, which was not carrying any passengers, was traveling along Gascoigne Road towards Hung Hom.
Near the Labour Tribunal, the driver suddenly lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off the road. The taxi plowed into the pavement, collided with several meters of railings, and struck an electrical box.
Rescue workers promptly arrived at the scene to assist.
The taxi driver, who was sober at the time of the incident, sustained minor injuries. He boarded the ambulance for treatment.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
