Truck overturns in Kwai Tsing Container Terminals, trapping one driver

A container truck overturned at Kwai Tsing Container Terminal 6, trapping a worker early Thursday morning.

At 0:24 am today, the police received a report that a container truck had overturned on Tsing Yi Container Port Road South. The 69-year-old driver, surnamed Ho, was trapped beneath the vehicle.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to rescue him and discovered that his thigh was injured. He was transported to hospital by ambulance for medical attention.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
