The immersive exhibition featuring film scenes from "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" has relocated to Kai Tak's Airside and will be open to the public until April of next year.
Unlike the previous exhibition held at the airport, the new exhibition will engage visitors with the dialogue of the characters, sound effects, and movie scenes.
Along with the four iconic scenes -- a barber shop, tea stall, back alley and home appliances store -- new photo spots including a comic store, bone-setting clinic and tailor will also be showcased to recreate the charm of the 1980s.
In addition, the exhibition incorporated dining and retail stalls, allowing guests to taste the famed Char Siu rice and eyeglass chocolate beans from the film.
Visitors can also purchase limited-themed merchandise, ranging from the model of the Walled City, thermal bottles, T-shirts, matchboxes and the original novel by local writer Yuyi.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Financial Secretary Michael Wong Wai-lun announced plans for another related exhibition at Kowloon Walled City Park, which is expected to take place in March or April of next year.
Wong noted that the future exhibition will contain both indoor and outdoor elements, with props from the film under production.
More details will be provided by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, Wong added.
The exhibition is free to the public and will run from 11 am to 9 pm daily from December 17 to April 13, 2025.
