Citybus is set to enhance the holiday spirit by expanding its services from December 21 to January 2, including over 510 additional bus departures. This expansion coincides with the launch of their new tourism brand, "HK City Sightseeing," and the re-introduction of “multiple-entry” endorsements for visitors to Hong Kong.
A highlight of this festive season is the debut of a specially decorated Christmas open-top bus, the "Chilling Spectre Roadster," adorned with cozy "Big Eater" and "PAC-MAN" sweater designs. This bus will feature on the new "Christmas Illumination Route," running from December 14 to 30, guiding passengers through iconic Christmas light hotspots in Hong Kong after 9 PM.
Citybus has also collaborated with "PAC-MAN" to celebrate their 45th anniversary and Christmas, launching a winter art journey on this unique bus. Passengers can enjoy the refreshing breeze and dazzling lights on the upper deck or the cozy atmosphere on the lower deck.
During the Christmas and New Year period, Citybus will add over 180 extra trips on three sightseeing routes: H1 "Heritage Route," H2 "Cultural Route," and H2K "Night Scene Hong Kong." These enhancements aim to cater to the surge in patronage, especially from mainland tourists, since the introduction of "HK City Sightseeing."
Additionally, Citybus will improve services to and from the airport and three major road boundary ports: the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port, Shenzhen Bay Port, and Heung Yuen Wai Port. Extra trips will also be added to popular tourist destinations like Stanley and The Peak.
Tourists can take advantage of the new "Citybus+" sightseeing passes, offering unlimited rides on all Citybus routes for up to 72 hours. This pass is ideal for exploring tourist destinations and enjoying the hop-on hop-off experience on the open-top buses.
To accommodate local customers during the holiday season, the Cityflyer will enhance its morning services starting December 21, including extra services on overnight routes NA10, NA12, and NA29, and adding early morning trips to their Cityflyer daytime services.
Citybus hopes these enhancements will provide passengers with a memorable and joyful holiday experience, making it easier to explore the vibrant essence of Hong Kong.
