Kicking off in December and running through February 28, 2025, the Light Up Macao festival illuminates the city like never before. This year’s theme is the ‘Symphony of Time and Space’. Visitors can explore 23 carefully curated locations across the Macao Peninsula, Taipa, and Coloane, each showcasing innovative light installations.
The festival offers something for everyone, including six flagship installations, four art pieces, 12 light sculptures, nine interactive installations, and three projection mapping shows. Winter Fun Wonderland at Studio City
Studio City’s Winter Fun Wonderland is a must-visit attraction for families and couples alike. This magical venue offers the city’s first-ever Ice Park, where guests can enjoy free skating or stroll along the enchanting Snowflake Bridge amidst falling snow until January 5, 2025.
Iconic installations like the towering 8-meter tall Wishmas Tree and Penguin Snow Mountain create picture-perfect moments, while meet-and-greet opportunities with Santa Claus and the Gingerbread Man add a delightful touch of holiday charm. From December 16, 2024, to January 1, 2025, the Christmas Market 2024 transforms Tap Seac Square into a bustling hub of festive joy. With 24 stalls offering everything from Christmas gifts to delicious snacks, this market is a treasure trove for holiday shopping. Families will appreciate the rides and attractions, while interactive performances and a dedicated kids’ zone keep the little ones entertained.

The Poly MGM Museum stands as a testament to Macao’s commitment to cultural preservation and international collaboration. This museum, proudly presented by Poly Culture and MGM, and located within MGM Macau, showcases exquisite artifacts and innovative exhibitions that celebrate China’s rich heritage.
Visitors can marvel at masterpieces curated by leading experts from around the world. The museum serves as a cultural “bridgehead,” enriching Macao’s global appeal and highlighting its role as a hub for artistic and cultural exchange.
The exhibition features artifacts from the Qing dynasty, including plates and paintings, as well as various art installations and contemporary artworks.
