Four injured after sedan rams into Tuen Mun store

Four individuals sustained injuries after a sedan lost control and crashed into an optical store in Tuen Mun on Friday afternoon.

At approximately 3.25 pm, the vehicle was traveling opposite Glorious Garden in Tuen Mun when it suddenly veered off the road.

It mounted the pedestrian path, striking an elderly woman, before continuing its uncontrolled trajectory and smashing through the glass windows of the store.

The elderly woman sustained injuries to her head and waist and was promptly transported to hospital for medical attention.

Images circulating online depict a chaotic scene at the store's entrance, with large quantities of glass shards scattered around. The sedan was pictured inside the store, amidst a disarray of iron railings and debris.

It is understood that the sedan's driver and passengers also sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. They were conscious at the time of transport, as were two other female pedestrians who were injured in the incident.
