Lee delivered his remarks today at the launch ceremony of an exhibition displaying replicas of the sets of the hit martial arts film "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In", which will represent Hong Kong in the Best International Feature Film category at the 97th Academy Awards.
The city leader stated that the exhibition will allow residents and tourists to gain insight into the production process associated with local films, thereby reigniting their appreciation for Hong Kong cinema.
Lee noted that the globally renowned Hong Kong film industry plays a significant role in the city's soft power and is a crucial cultural tourism asset, especially as the government actively promotes the "Tourism is everywhere in Hong Kong" initiative.
He added that the government will continue developing film tourism through film-themed projects to attract visitors while promoting Hong Kong's film culture.
