A worker died after being airlifted to the hospital following a fainting incident at the Hong Kong International Airport Third Runway worksite in Chek Lap Kok on Thursday morning.

At approximately 11.15 am today, the worker began to feel unwell while on duty and subsequently lost consciousness. His colleagues witnessed the incident and quickly contacted emergency services for assistance.
Paramedics arrived promptly at the scene and confirmed that the worker was still breathing. The Government Flying Services dispatched a helicopter to transport the man to Eastern Hospital for further medical evaluation and care.
Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the hospital while receiving emergency medical attention.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
