The tickets for the gala show and sports demonstrations of China's Paris Olympic delegation visiting Hong Kong from August 29 to 31 will be available for purchase starting this Thursday (Aug 22).

During the three-day visit, the national athletes delegation will attend a gala show and give sports demonstrations for the public.
The show will be held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium on August 30 from 8pm to 9.30pm, while the sports demonstrations will take place from 9.30am to 11.30am on August 31.
Two groups of athletes will conduct badminton, gymnastics and table tennis demonstrations at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, as well as diving and swimming demonstrations at Victoria Park Swimming Pool.
The list of participating national athletes is yet to be confirmed, though.
Around 5,300 tickets for the events are reserved for the public, including free tickets for the underprivileged.
The tickets will be sold at 10am via the Internet, mobile app, and credit card telephone booking services of URBTIX and priced at HK$20 each, with a maximum of two tickets per purchase. Real-name registration and presentation of proof of identity with a photo will be required for entry.
Failure to do so will result in denied admission and no refunds.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department has reminded the public that there will be no ticket collection service at the venues on the event day, and tickets must be collected in advance from URBTIX outlets or self-service kiosks.
Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu expressed his sincere gratitude to Beijing for arranging the visit of the mainland Olympians delegation.
"We are extremely proud to have witnessed China's competitive sports continue to scale new heights, and to demonstrate to the world the power of Chinese-style modernisation," he added.
In addition to exploring Hong Kong, international tourists can take a short ferry ride to the vibrant city of Macao. The Macao Government Tourism Office is offering complimentary one-way tickets for direct ferry services from Hong Kong to Macao until December 31. Not to mention a seamless and complimentary journey from Hong Kong International Airport to the Macao Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
