Hong Kong will be organizing a variety of activities across the city’s 18 districts to celebrate National Day - and here's what we know so far.

Islands District
Sources suggested that a beach music festival will be held at Silver Mine Bay Beach in Mui Wo on October 5, with the festival featuring performances by movie and TV stars.
It is also understood that a carnival will be held at Tung Chung Promenade on September 28.
Sai Kung District
Celebratory events will be held at the Hong Kong Velodrome in Tseung Kwan O.
Eastern District
The Eastern District office is mulling a luminous dragon dance in the district, featuring the city’s longest luminous dragon at 328 meters long.
Southern District
Sources said the celebratory activity will involve the traditional fire dragon dance.
Tai Po District
Sources said the Tai Po District Office is planning a "Parade, drone and variety show" along the Lam Tsuen River that features the popular mainland cartoon character "Naloong."

Sha Tin District
A National Education Carnival could be held on September 28, featuring a flag-raising ceremony, performances, movie screenings, national security and aerospace technology research workshops, and booth games to cultivate patriotism among students and their parents in the district. There will be cultural activities at the Sha Tin Town Hall.
