This decision came after the first show, featuring the popular children's anime character, held back in May, was met with great enthusiasm.
The organizers announced the second show will be held over the Avenue of Stars, near the sea in East Tsim Sha Tsui, on July 20.
The organizer said that new exciting content will be added, and 1,000 drones will be formed into a variety of classic Doraemon scenes and shapes.
Due to the large number of visitors to the first show and the date of the second show, part of the Avenue of Stars will be transformed into different free outdoor exhibition areas, along with implementing one-way crowd control.
Therefore, after communication with the relevant departments, the organizer will move the location of the show to the sea area above the Avenue of Stars near East Tsim Sha Tsui.
Details, such as recommended viewing locations, will be announced later.
In view of severe weather changes in July, the organizer urges visitors to pay attention to the latest announcements on the official website and social platforms.
In addition, the "100% Doraemon & FRIENDS" touring special exhibition, which will be launched on July 13, will include the world's tallest 12-meter Doraemon inflatable sculpture and a free-to-visit 100% Doraemon outdoor exhibition area.
There will be no on-site queuing for admission, and members of the public can make reservations through the online system starting at noon on July 9 (Tue).
