At about 6 a.m. today, an underground water pipe burst from the sidewalk outside the Christian and Missionary Alliance Sun Kei Secondary School in Tseung Kwan O, spewing out a column of water about 6 meters high.
After receiving the report, the Water Supplies Department sent personnel to investigate and turn off the water switch.
It is still undergoing repairs, and it is unknown whether the burst water pipe is for saltwater or fresh water.
According to a live source, it was seen that the water column appeared like a fountain, shooting onto the campus of the school, soaking the ground making it slippery.
According to the school's academic calendar, it is understood that the school is holding a water sports meet today, and teachers and students do not need to return to school.
