Clement Chan gets two more years to lead HK’s Consumer Council

Clement Chan Kam-wing has been reappointed as Chairman of the Consumer Council for a term of two years with effect from July 15 this year, the SAR government announced on Friday.

A government spokesman said Chan has been leading the Council since July 2022, and has demonstrated exemplary leadership as the Council undertook various initiatives to safeguard consumer rights during the past two years.

“We are confident that the Council will further advance its work on consumer protection under his leadership," the spokesman added.
