A tourist was hospitalized after choking on some food in a Tsim Sha Tsui restaurant on Tuesday morning.

Shortly before 11 a.m. today, the police received a report stating that a woman in her 20s had suddenly lost consciousness during her meal at a restaurant on Lock Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The rescue workers arrived at the scene and took her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention, accompanied by a female friend.
The rescue workers had to use a defibrillator to provide first aid, and she eventually resumed breathing.
The police arrived at the restaurant to conduct their investigation, and it is understood that the woman was a tourist from the mainland who had arrived at the restaurant to try the food in Hong Kong.
Security footage of the scene showed that she had ordered various foods at the restaurant and was having a meal when she suddenly lost consciousness, with her friend attempting to slap her on the back.
The restaurant employee was worried about the incident and contacted the police for assistance.
