Due to high interest and continued demand, a large-scale Doraemon exhibition in Hong Kong will be staying in the city for one more week, as the organizer announced the extension on Monday.
In commemoration of the 90th anniversary of Doraemon’s creator Fujiko F Fujio, the large-scale exhibition will run from July 13 to August 4 originally, with the additional week bringing the closing date to August 11. Opening hours are 11 am to 9 pm on Mondays to Thursdays, 11 am to 10 pm on Fridays, and 10 am to 10 pm on Saturdays to Sundays.
Doraemon lovers can visit the free-entry zones at Avenue of Stars and Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, they can also get tickets to an exhibition area on the 6th floor of K11 Musea.
Those who wish to see the ticketed exhibition can get tickets on Klook.com. Do note that all tickets to visit the exhibition between July 13 and 21 are sold out, but you can still get tickets for the remaining days (July 22 to August 11) starting from May 27, 11 am onwards.
General Admission tickets are priced at HK$120 each for kids aged four to 11, and HK$150 each for those aged 12 or above. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis, with a small portion of tickets reserved for on-site sales.
In addition to exploring Hong Kong, international tourists can take a short ferry ride to the vibrant city of Macao. For a limited time until July 31, the Macao Government Tourism Office is offering complimentary one-way tickets for direct ferry services from Hong Kong to Macao. Not to mention a seamless and complimentary journey from Hong Kong International Airport to the Macao Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
