Secondary school teacher arrested for sexually harassing two female students during tutorial lessons

A male teacher was arrested in Tai Po after two female students reported of being sexually harassed for nearly a year.

According to local reports on Tuesday, police were informed by a social worker on September 22 that two 17-year-old students at a school in Tai Po were groped multiple times by a man from December 2022 to May 2023.

It is understood that the duo were inappropriately touched on the thigh during one of the tutorial lessons.

After a preliminary investigation, officers arrested a 38-year-old man surnamed Lau on suspicion of groping on September 25.

He has been released on bail pending further investigation.
