A 59-year-old male patient has gone missing after leaving Kwong Wah Hospital on Sunday.
The Kwong Wah Hospital (KWH) spokesman made an appeal to the public yesterday (Nov 26) regarding a patient who left the hospital without prior notification.
The 59-year-old male patient is said to have left KWH at around 6.15 pm yesterday (Nov 26) while he was hospitalized at the Surgical Ward.
Security guards were mobilized to search the hospital compound but could not find the missing patient, and the hospital immediately contacted the police for assistance.
The patient is about 1.68 meters tall and has a thin build with short hair. He was wearing a blue windbreaker when he last seen.
The hospital urged members of the public to contact the Yau Ma Tei Police Station at 3661 1652 or call 999 if they know the whereabouts of the patient.
