Uni student in education program arrested for sneaking upskirt photo of schoolgirls

A university student was arrested on Monday afternoon for taking upskirt photos of schoolgirls in Jordan.

The arrest came around noon after plain clothes officers spotted the man acting suspiciously on an escalator in the Jordan MTR station.

The man took off as officers approached, with the officers eventually subduing the man near the intersection of Nanking Street and Chi Wo Street.

Further investigation found that the man had multiple upskirt photos and video footage of schoolgirls stored on his mobile phone.

Officers then arrested the man for "unlawful recording or observation of intimate parts".

Sources said the man, 20, was a local university student who enrolled in an education program.
