Speaking at the sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) held in Shanghai, Lee said in addition to fostering collaboration, Hong Kong also offers diversified professional services, comprehensive networks and solutions.
"We welcome international and mainland enterprises to build their business here and leverage Hong Kong's advantages to achieve 'win-win cooperation,'" he added.
He added that the Expo - held from Sunday to Friday (Nov 10) - has become an essential platform for Hong Kong enterprises to promote their services and products.
There are over 300 firms from Hong Kong taken part in CIIE, the most since 2018.
He added that the global economic shift to the east will continue, and Asia will remain an important driver of global economic growth. He emphasized that national development offers the best opportunities for Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong leader also attended the "Invest in China Year" Summit held during the CIIE to share with participants how Hong Kong capitalizes on the distinctive advantages of attracting foreign enterprises and assisting mainland enterprises in going global.
