Cross-dressing man sneaks into girls’ school and photographs girls in the toilet wanted by police

Police are hunting down a man dressed as a student of Good Hope School, who they said had sneaked onto the school’s campus in Ngau Chi Wan and hidden himself inside the toilet to photograph girls.

The case was reported to the police on Monday after the man was spotted by his “schoolmates” committing the crime.

It is understood that two students were using the toilet at around 9.30 am yesterday when they found themselves being photographed inside the toilet compartments. The two had decided to confront their “schoolmate” and waited outside the locked compartment – in which the man had hidden himself.

To the girls' surprise, a man dressed in their school uniform, also wearing a wig and makeup rushed out of the compartment and fled the scene.

The girls immediately reported the incident to the school after failing to chase down the man, with the school referring the case to the police.

Police said the case is now handled by the Wong Tai Sin police district, with officers reviewing security camera footage in the vicinity to try and locate the suspect. No arrest has been made so far.
