Around 4 pm today, three men wielding a steel pipe, a meat cleaver, and red paint suddenly barged into the Kowloon City Market and Cooked Food Centre and thrashed a fruit stall located on the ground floor, wreaking havoc and splashing red paint.
After completing their attack, they fled the scene and climbed into a sedan heading towards Hau Wong Road.
The police arrived at the scene, after being contacted by the stall owner, to see the fruit stall wrecked and red paint doused over most of the fruit, the floor, and the left forearm of the owner.
The stall owner stated that they had opened the stall over 20 years ago and had not made an enemy with anyone, so he is unsure why this incident occurred.
The police have labeled this as a property damage case and handed it over to the Kowloon City Police District.
They are currently hunting for three suspects wearing masks and with a thin physique.
