In a writ filed to the High Court last Friday, Thomas Fok Man-fong demanded his half-siblings Ian Fok Chun-wan and Benjamin Fok Chun-yue - the second and third son of Henry Fok's first wife who were also the executors of the estate - to distribute the estate to each of the beneficiaries according to a settlement agreed by the family members in 2012.
Thomas Fok requested the court to order the defendants to distribute the jewelry worth not less than HK$5 million along with the HK$25 million estate for each beneficiary.
It is understood that the 16 family members had signed a settlement agreement, with the three sons of the first wife each receiving HK$6.5 billion from Henry Fok's estate, while the remaining members share about HK$10 billion in total.
According to the information revealed by the children of the second and third wives, the remaining HK$25 million from the estates has yet to be distributed.
