Police said the boy, Chen Healton, was found wandering at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department at around 12.40 pm yesterday. A police report was soon filed.
It is understood that the boy holds a Hong Kong identity card, but both his parents are mainlanders. Sources said the boy doesn’t have a home in Hong Kong and has been sent to a childcare center.
“The boy is 1.45 meters tall, 35 kilograms in weight, and of thin build. He has a sharp face with a yellow complexion and short black hair.
“He wore a pair of black glasses, a dark blue short-sleeved T-shirt, khaki shorts, and black sandals,” according to a police statement.
The boy sustained no apparent injuries. An investigation by the Yau Tsim police district is now underway.
Police urge his relatives or anyone with information to contact any police stations or the officers of Yau Tsim District at 36619515 or email ymtdiv-rr@police.gov.hk.
