National security police have on Thursday taken away two men and two women for questioning, including the brother of former lawmaker Dennis Kwok Wing-hang, according to sources.
The identity of the three others currently under police custody remains unknown.
It was said that Dennis Kwok’s brother Michael kwok wing-chun was escorted to the Western Police Station this morning to help with the investigation.
Dennis Kwok, 45, was among eight activists each being placed a HK$1 million bounty as they were wanted by the city’s national security police for alleged collusion with foreign countries or external elements.
According to a police reward notice, Kwok was accused of voicing support in September 2021 for overseas governments to impose sanctions and engage in hostile activities against mainland China and Hong Kong. He also allegedly appealed for financial sanctions on the city last December.
