A man plunged to his death on Saturday as he jumped off the 13/F of Langham Place in Mong Kok and landed on the mall’s food court on the 4/F.
The incident occurred at around 1 pm today. Diners and shoppers started screaming and running away as they witnessed the horrific scene, while others filed police reports.
Paramedics soon came and rushed the man who fell into a coma to Kwong Wah Hospital. The man was eventually pronounced dead.
Police have yet to confirm the identity of the deceased and are investigating the cause of the incident.
Today’s tragedy marks the fourth of its kind since the mall opened in 2005.
The three previous incidents occurred in December 2007, May 2013, and January 2022.
