Undersecretary for labor and welfare Jonathan Ho Kai-ming has tested positive for the coronavirus via rapid antigen test and is under quarantine according to guidelines issued by the Centre for Health Protection.

A spokesperson from the bureau said Ho last went to work on August 2. He wore a mask at work and complied with the precautionary measures.
He also took a rapid antigen test every day and has no recent record of travel.
The bureau has thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the offices concerned and would continue to strictly enforce all preventive measures and arrange for relevant staff to be tested.
