Application for second batch of Local Tours program begins Wednesday

The second batch of 107 Local Tours programs under the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s “Hong Kong Summer Treats” campaign will be up for grabs starting Wednesday (June 8).

Starting at 10am tomorrow, citizens can visit the HolidayHK.com 'Local tours' section and select from the list of eligible free or paid tours.

Applicants are reminded to keep their machine-printed dining and retail receipts -- having spent HK$800 or more -- to sign up for the tours.

Interested parties could contact the Participating Travel Agent directly to make a reservation for the tour according to its contact method under the program website.

The 107 featured tours center around four themes – Lively Culture, Neighbourhoods, Scenic Harbour and Gastro-fantasies – encompassing a wide variety of distinctive tours, authentic local culture and delightful culinary experiences. 

Meanwhile, a third batch of around 40 local tours will also be introduced next week, according to the Board.
