The 42-second video went viral online, showing the two fighting on the South Horizon-bound platform.
The two - a middle-aged man in red outfit and a teenager in black - were said to have got into an argument after both have refused to give way to each other, and end up exchanging punches.
They were also heard cursing at each other during the melee.
From the video, the middle-aged man accused the teenager of “deliberately causing a scene”, while the teenager replied he was “not doing anything on purpose”, adding that the platform was crowded.
Passersby and MTR staff at the scene tried to stop the fight. The video did not show how the fight ended.
The MTR later in a press release said Admiralty MTR station staff noticed the fight at 6.15pm yesterday. After mediation, the two eventually stop the fight and left the station. MTR services have not been disrupted.
