Alvin Cheng Kam-mun from Civic Passion, alongside 6 people have been granted bail, from the case of providing help to protesters during the crash at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Cheng, five men and a woman were charged of preventing the course of justice, including helping protesters at PolyU to escape, knowing that they would be arrested by the police, on November 20, 2019.
The case was mentioned at Kowloon City Magistrates’ Courts today in the afternoon, and transferred to District Court for hearing on April 27.
They were granted bail for HK$20,000 to 100,000. They are not allowed to leave the city and are required to hand over their passports.
They also need to report to the police station four to seven times a week, and some have to follow curfew orders.
Among the seven are Alvin Cheng, 32, a driver surnamed Yip, 27, a decoration worker surnamed Ho, 28, an administrative officer surnamed Chan, 33, an unemployed man surnamed Wong, 25, a stage worker surnamed Fung, 30, and a female advertisement director surnamed Lam, 31.
