Death toll rises to 67 after elderly man dies

An elderly man has died from the coronavirus infection today, bringing the city's death toll to 67.

He was also the 60th death since the coronavirus's third wave hit the SAR.

The Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital said the mand died today at 4:58pm. The man, 69, was sent to the hospital in Chai Wan with a shortness of breath on July 30, and was later transferred to the intensive care unit on August 5. But his condition worsened afterwards.
