Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong lawmaker Gary Chan Hak-kan said today he expects there will be chaos at the Legislative Council tomorrow as the second reading debate on the National Anthem Bill will resume.
But he said pro-establishment lawmakers will go to the complex as early as possible tomorrow to support the bill.
Chan said if there are lawmakers shouting, leaving their seats, or storming the podium, Legco president Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen must strictly enforce the Rules of Procedure.
Security has been beefed up outside the Legislative Council Complex ahead of the meeting tomorrow as some netizens have proposed surrounding the building.
