The case against a man accused of killing triad leader Lee Tai-lung outside a hotel in 2009 was mentioned again at the Eastern Magistrates' Courts today.
Leung Kwok-chung, 50, is facing a count of murder. He had been on the run since the alleged murder and surrendered himself to the police in January.
The case was adjourned until June 22 for the case to be transferred to the High Court. Leung will remain in custody.
On August 4, 2009, Lee was first rammed by a seven-seater car outside the the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel in Tsui Sha Tsui and then assaulted by three knife-wielding men who jumped out of the vehicle. Lee was certified dead at hospital.
