The Secretary for Food and Health Sophia Chan Siu-chee said today although the number of new daily coronavirus cases in Hong Kong have dropped in the past few days, the pandemic is still ongoing and the outbreak cannot be taken lightly.
Chan said she is aware more people have gone outside during the holidays, but stressed that the virus does not take breaks and urged people to maintain social distancing.

At the Tai Kwong Lane in Tai Po, families were out and most of them were wearing face masks. Grocery stores, food stalls and fruit stalls were visited by many.
