Reluctant hero Black Adam turns dark to light in DC film debut

Black Adam, played by Dwayne Johnson, imbued with the power of the gods in ancient Kahndaq 5000 years ago, embraces his might for vengeance. The wizards who bestowed the gifts upon the reluctant hero, realizing their mistake, imprison Black Adam for eternity.   

He is released into a modern Kahndaq, so different yet somehow the same from when he last tread there 5 millennia ago.   

From New Line Cinema, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam and his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone.  

They must return Black Adam to his tomb or risk great destruction unless a threat from elsewhere teams them with our anti-hero; someone has to do what heroes won't.
