Hong Kong athletes graduated from La Salle College made a glorious return to their alma mater to celebrate their success, including Tokyo Olympians fencer Ryan Choi Chun-yin and paddler Lam Siu-hang.
Other old boys included former swimmer Ronnie Wong Man-chiu, badminton player Vincent Wong Ka-kai and Reginald Lee Chun-hei.
Fencer Choi, who ended his trip to the Tokyo Olympics in the round of 16, said he has set his eyes on a medal in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, while his long-term goal will be a medal in the Paris Olympics three years later.
Athletes think La Salle has the sports facilities to turn students into elite athletes, but their motivation for excellence is the "La Salle Spirit" - never say die.
Principal Tong Wun-sing, hoped the event could encourage the old boys and the public to continue their support of the college for growing sport talent.
