A six-year-old girl from CCC Kei Wan Primary School was allegedly kicked in the groin by a male classmate earlier this week, in an incident that has been classified by police as common assault.
According to reports, the incident took place on Tuesday. The girl’s mother discovered redness and swelling in her daughter’s genital area while bathing her and learned of the alleged assault after questioning her. The case was subsequently reported to police.
In response to inquiries, the school said it has activated its crisis management team, contacted the parents concerned, and provided follow-up assistance. The school also said it has informed its discipline and guidance head, social worker, and the class teacher, who are offering counseling and support to the students involved.
CCC Kei Wan Primary School said it places strong emphasis on moral education and has in place clear and stringent discipline and guidance procedures. It added that any misconduct will be handled in accordance with established mechanisms, including disciplinary measures and ongoing follow-up to help students reflect and improve.
The school also said it will handle the matter in line with Education Bureau guidelines.
