Man falls into atrium at Festival Walk, dies in hospital

A man fell from a height into the atrium of Festival Walk shopping mall in Kowloon Tong on Thursday afternoon (Feb 12), sustaining severe injuries.

Emergency services rushed the man to Caritas Medical Centre, where he was later pronounced dead.

The mall later covered the incident site with a tent. A backpack was found on the floor of the level from which the man fell.

Police are investigating the cause of the fall.
