The Hong Kong New Industrialisation Development Alliance held its third meeting on Friday to advance new industrialization as a major economic driver.

The meeting today was chaired by the alliance's founding chairman and Federation of Hong Kong Industries honorary president, Dr. Steve Chuang Tzu-hsiung.
Attendees included Jackson Leung Siu-yin (vice president, Hong Kong Chinese Manufacturers' Association), Ida Ng Kit-ching (CEO, Hong Kong Chinese Manufacturers' Association), Engineer Sun Guowei (general manager, Intelligent Manufacturing, Hong Kong Productivity Council), Dr Daniel Yan Ting-Kwan (academic director, Vocational Training Council), Dr Du Peng (chairman, Hong Kong New Industrialisation Alliance), Ben Kwan (managing partner, Strategy and Transactions, Greater China, Ernst & Young), Jack Chan (partner, Ernst & Young), representatives from the University of Hong Kong's Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences, and Dr Ge Ming (Commissioner for Industry—Innovation and Technology) with his team.
Participants discussed building a complete ecosystem integrating government, industry, academia, research, and investment to accelerate innovation, technology, and related sectors while exploring future cooperation.
The Federation of Hong Kong Industries, celebrating 65 years, pledged continued partnership with the alliance to strengthen industry foundations and create new economic momentum for Hong Kong.
