Employee suspected of stealing HK$100,000 from safe at On Tai mall pharmacy

A pharmacy in Sau Mau Ping's On Tai Shopping Centre reported a theft of HK$100,000 on Sunday afternoon, with a male employee suspected of breaking into the store's safe.

The male store owner called police at about 5pm, stating the safe had been pried open. After reviewing CCTV footage, officers are investigating the employee's alleged involvement in the break-in.

The case has been classified as burglary. No arrests have been made so far.
