3 South Asian men rob taxi passenger in Sha Tin, flee with cash

Three South Asian men robbed a taxi passenger of tens of thousands of dollars in cash at Sun Tin Wai Estate in Sha Tin on Sunday night before fleeing the scene.

Police received reports around 9pm that the men had boarded the taxi upon its arrival at the estate's taxi stand from Cheung Sha Wan, then robbed a male passenger and damaged the vehicle's camera system before escaping.

Neither the driver nor passenger sustained injuries during the incident. Police have classified the case as robbery and are searching for the suspects.
