(Video) Baby repeatedly pushed off bench in viral abuse video

A disturbing video of apparent infant abuse has circulated online since Tuesday, showing a young girl repeatedly pushing a baby off a bench onto its face.

The video, whose exact time and location remain unconfirmed, shows a girl of apparent foreign descent holding a baby on an outdoor corridor bench before suddenly placing the infant on the bench and pushing it to the ground. The baby landed face first and cried intensely.

After attempting unsuccessfully to comfort the crying infant, the girl repeated the violent act, causing shock among witnesses visible in the footage.

The video spread through Facebook and Telegram groups. The original poster claimed to have notified building security, but was allegedly told they didn't want to deal with the hassle of giving statements or court appearances. The poster also stated the baby's mother was aware of the incident but didn't wish to pursue matters, noting the girl was a neighbor who frequently played with the baby and had established trust.

Netizens expressed outrage, with many heartbroken by the baby's suffering. Some questioned why the mother would leave the baby with another child, calling the incident intentional rather than accidental. Others admitted being too disturbed to watch the video twice.

Many criticized the person filming for not intervening, asking why they didn't rush to stop the abuse immediately rather than continuing to record, and suggesting they should have shouted to alert others while documenting the incident.
