The Hong Kong national football team has announced a 34-player preliminary squad as it gears up for two pivotal matches against Bangladesh in the third round of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
The Hong Kong Team, under the guidance of head coach Ashley Westwood, will travel to Dhaka on October 6 for the away fixture on October 9 at the National Stadium, kicking off at 8pm local time.
The return leg follows on October 14, with Bangladesh visiting Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong for an 8pm showdown, marking another chapter in the team's campaign to secure a spot in the continental tournament.
The squad, drawn from both local leagues and overseas clubs, blends experienced campaigners with emerging talents.
