Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu led a high-level delegation to Macau on Tuesday for talks with Macau Chief Executive Sam Hou-fai, with both sides pledging to enhance cooperation between the two special administrative regions and jointly promote high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The Hong Kong delegation arrived at the Macau Government Headquarters in the morning for the meeting, which focused on deepening collaboration in various sectors.
Following the discussions, Ho hosted an official luncheon for the visitors at the Government Guest House.
Lee's delegation included top officials: Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang Kwok-wai, Secretary for Health Lo Chung-mau, Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mable Chan, and Chief Executive's Office Director Carol Yip Man-kuen.
The Hong Kong leader returned to the city in the afternoon after concluding the one-day visit.
