In response to the Hong Kong government's "Tourism is Everywhere" and "Mega Events Economy" policies, Sino Group is presenting mega attractions in its shopping malls located in different regions of Hong Kong during mainland China’s Labour Day “Golden Week” holidays.

Highlights include the first-ever “Gold Coast Hydrangea Festival” which kicks off with a spectacular drone show displaying 1,288 drones that form glittering hydrangea flowers in full bloom to light up the night skies.
In addition, large-scale free evening concerts "Magic Hour Live House" featuring popular singers are held at the Dolphin Square in China Hong Kong City, where locals and tourists alike enjoy the holidays under the breathtaking sunset skies.
Meanwhile, a series of shopping and dining rewards are in place at Sino Group shopping malls. From 1 to 14 May, Sino Group’s four major shopping malls – TMT Plaza, Olympian City, Citywalk and One North – are launching a large-scale promotion event “Sino Group Shopping Malls 5.1 Crazy Sale” in partnership with AlipayHK and Mainland China’s Alipay. The event includes a giveaway of more than 51,000 premium prizes, instant discount coupons, free parking coupons and other selected merchant offers, with a total value of more than HK$5 million.
Furthermore, S+ REWARDS members can receive S cash coupons worth up to HK$2,280 for spendings with Citi credit cards at designated shopping malls. Members can also enjoy daily spending rebates of up to HK$300 at Lee Tung Street, while visitors to Hong Kong can obtain cash coupons from selected merchants for free.
According to Bella Chhoa, Director – Asset Management of Sino Group, thanks to the Hong Kong government's continued efforts in building a “Mega Events Economy", the number of visitors to Hong Kong has increased significantly in the first quarter of the year and is expected to grow as Hong Kong continues to host a series of large-scale events in May.
Riding on this trend, she revealed that Sino Group shopping malls have spent more than HK$10 million to welcome visitors during Labour Day “Golden Week” holidays, and a 10 percent increase is expected on the overall traffic in Sino Group shopping malls during the five-day holiday.
She also said that in sync with the government’s “Tourism is Everywhere” concept, Sino Group is organizing the “Gold Coast Hydrangea Festival” with a series of dining and entertainment activities featuring multiple Instagrammable spots for five consecutive days. Not-to-be-missed is the magnificent drone show on the evening of 1 May which can be viewed from various locations in Tuen Mun, offering an unforgettable evening for both locals and tourists.
