Chester in Hung Hom of 241 units to launch sales brochure after CNY

Henderson Land Development (0012) is expected to upload the sales brochure of its Chester project in Hung Hom after the Chinese New Year, with sales to commence as early as March.

This phase 5 of the Midtown South project offers 241 units, featuring one- to four-bedroom layouts, among which two- and three-bedroom flats accounted for nearly 60 percent.

Thomas Lam Tat-man, the general manager of sales (1) department, said the first four phases of the Midtown South have sold 1,150 flats to date, generating around HK$6.8 billion.

The developer also said it plans to put over 1,382 units from four projects on the market this year, including phase 2 of the Highwood redevelopment project in To Kwa Wan, Temple Street project in Yau Ma Tei, No. 25 Heung Tsz Road project in Kwu Tung, as well as Chester.

Lam estimated that the transactions of the primary market this year would exceed the robust performance in 2025 amid the improved balance between residential demand and supply.
