Uni-President China first-half profit up 9pc

Uni-President China (0220) recorded a 9 percent rise in net profit to 1.4 billion yuan (HK$1.63 billion) in the first half of 2026.

Revenue of the food and beverage firm grew by 1.4 percent to 17.3 billion yuan, of which sales from the food business climbed 4.7 percent to 5.6 billion yuan, while those from the beverages business dipped 0.3 percent to 10.7 billion yuan.

Gross margin for the period inched up by 0.7 percentage points to 35 percent, mainly driven by product structure optimization.
